The Nikon D700 belongs to the professional grade of fully framed DSLR or digital single lens reflex cameras manufactured and produced by the Nikon Company, one of the top selling photo and imaging companies as of today. It was first introduced in the market last July 2008 in its native Japan and as of the latest it has made its way into other parts of the world such as the United States, Europe, Africa and Australia. It has a full frame sensor that enables the photographer to capture images without the crop factor.
This Nikon D700 model has numerous similarities to its predecessors, especially with regard to the battery pack that it uses. It also has the auto focus capability present in most Nikon made cameras. It also includes a built in CPU and metering for older types of Nikon cameras. It has a 12.1 megapixel quality of imaging coupled with Nikon’s Scene Recognition System and electronic range finder function available in Nikon made cameras present in the market as of today.
