The Nikon D5000 is another DSLR or Digital Single Lens Reflex type of camera manufactured by the trusted multinational company, the Nikon Corporation. It was first introduced by the Nikon Company into the market last April 2009, featuring the best in the line of the most modern types of DSLR cameras available for anyone and everyone. It is the second DSLR type of camera to feature the “movie mode” following its predecessor the D90. It has many outstanding features namely the CMOS sensor, interchangeable Nikon F mount type of lens, electronically controlled vertical shutter together with 8 different types of modes with regard to exposure, a 3D color matrix metering system, continuous shooting capabilities, built-in pop up type of flash and the latest flash bracketing system.
This Nikon D5000 also features auto-scene recognition functions, quiet shooting mode function coupled with built-in sensor cleaning system, a 3D auto-tracking sensor module and a live view shooting mode.
