Nikon D50

The Nikon D50 is a DSLR or Digital Single Lens Reflex type of camera that is of the entry level from the photo and imaging leader, Nikon Corporation. It has a 6.1 megapixel type of resolution coupled with numerous functions such as the interchangeable F mount type of lens, electromechanical vertical travel type of shutter, a TTL full aperture exposure type of metering system, numerous exposure modes such as automatic, portrait, landscape, child, sport, close-up, night portrait and other exposure modes, spot, center weighted and matrix metering modes, 5 zone selectable focus areas and a manual, continuous and automatic focus modes. It was first announced into the market last April 2005 and went up on sale last June 2005.

This Nikon D50 series of cameras also features a 2.5 continuous frame shooting capability, a built in flash TTL speed-light feature, a rear LCD monitor and an autofocus motor that made it one of the top selling units of Nikon branded cameras as of today.
