For those scouting a simple way to broadcast content from your PC onto a TV sans wires (and regardless of format), Addlogix is demanding your attention. The firm’s InternetVue 2020 Wireless PC2TV Receiver enables users to “mirror what is on their computer screen on projectors or TVs,” and it also features composite / component inputs and 802.11b/g compatibility. Reportedly, any content (read: pictures, movie clips, presentations, live streaming sporting events, etc.) can be passed on from your machine to your television without worrying over formats or codecs, and it’s said to be shipping out as we speak for $249.

Want to spring out of your Windows Media Center situation, but don’t have any good options? Well, you’re in luck, because the good folks over at Linksys have whipped up a couple of wireless Media Center Extenders which might just do the trick… or wreck your home life. Feast your eyes on the DMA 2100 and DMA 2200 (pictured), two new offerings from the router-maker sure to please some of the people some of the time. Specs are thin right now, but what we do know is that the DMA 2200 sports an upscaling DVD player, both units have a “learning” remote, and the Extenders will be available sometime in November. For now, enjoy the photos, and your wild dreams of “sharing photos, music and movies” with friends and family.

[Thanks, Gordon]

For those who spend copious amounts of time listening to their music collection — enough to justify a touchscreen-based music management system — the Qsonix Q110 ought to tempt your wallet. The device is available in 250GB, 500GB or 1TB kits and features front access USB / accessory ports, four discrete analog audio outputs for multi-room applications and IR remote control capabilities. Additionally, it comes bundled with the latest (v2.2) software that adds “a fully integrated MusicGiants HD Download Store using Qsonix’s Album Browser drag-and-drop interface,” and just in case you plan on never going there, each system comes with a $50 music store credit to rope you in. Reportedly, the Q110 is available as we speak with prices ranging from a whopping $5,995 to a staggering $7,795. [Warning: PDF read link]

We realize the compact disc just turned 25 and all, but calling it dead already seems, shall we say, utterly ludicrous. Nevertheless, Olive has made that very claim as it announced “the end of the music CD” and the launch of its Opus Nº5 networked audio system. The firm’s CEO even stated that its new unit was “the answer” to “replace the CD player,” and it’s being marketed towards audio enthusiasts who might appreciate the 123dB signal / noise ratio, minimalist design, WiFi, Ethernet port, integrated backlit display / optical drive (for ripping those antiquated discs, right?) and the 400GB to 750GB hard drive built right in. So for those ready to “move on” with their lives and dive right in to the digital music transition (ahem), you can grab Olive’s latest starting at $2,999. More pics after the jump.

We know the rebadging / knockoff fiends have kicked out some seriously stupefying gear in the past, but we just find it (mighty) hard to believe that Nokia is actually venturing into the DVD player market. Nevertheless, a tipster reportedly snapped the above shot whilst out in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and while one may assume that the player was simply some other firm’s “DVD-3800″ with a Nokia emblem, both Denon and Astar’s iterations look fairly different. So, dear readers, what on earth is going on here? If anyone has even a remote clue what this thing is, drop us a line in comments — oh, and be sure to peep the other two snapshots after the break.

[Thanks, Javed]

If that 1TB-packin’ Blu-ray recorder Sharp announced earlier today is just a tad out of your reach, you might want to consider one of the company’s also-just-announced hard drive-less recorders, which’ll let you get your Blu-ray recording fix for about half the price. Available in a range of colors, the AQUOS BD-AV1 and BD-AV10 recorders look to be identical in most respects, with the notable exception of added dual-layer recording on the BD-AV10 model. Otherwise, each unit packs a single digital TV tuner, along with a lone HDMI port, a FireWire port, and some plain old composite ports to accommodate your older gear. If that’s enough to make you forget about the lack of a hard drive, you’ll be able to grab either unit at the end of next month, with the BD-AV1 setting you back ¥100,000 and the BD-AV10 running ¥120,000 (or roughly $865 and $1,040).

Remember that measly 40GB silverscreen from years past? Thankfully, LaCie has finally found time to upgrade that thing to a much more stylish creation, complete with a half terabyte of built-in storage space (or 320GB if you’re short on cash). The USB 2.0-based unit still features DivX compatibility and plug ‘n plug operation with your television, and it even plays nice with JPEG / MP3 formats as well as offering up an optical digital audio output for Dolby Digital 5.1 support. Buyers will also find a wireless remote bundled in, and for those with HDTVs, the silverscreen is reportedly able to upscale content via component. No word on availability just yet, but we’re hearing that the 500GB iteration is set to cost around €240 ($338) whenever it lands.

Right on cue, D-Link has made its own Media Center Extender official on the same day as Linksys. The DSM-750, which strangely boasts the exact same model number as a different product we heard about at CES, becomes the latest in the firm’s MediaLounge lineup and enables “high-speed, uninterrupted wireless (or wired) streaming and sharing of HD / SD video, movies, digital photos and music,” regardless of where your PC is located. The device features dual-band draft Wireless N technology, silent operation, a wireless remote, USB 2.0 port for accessing external storage, and a 10 / 100 Ethernet jack. Catch it this November for $349.99, and check out a bevy of photos (including a few hands-on) in the gallery below.

Earlier this month, Sling Media’s Slingbox SOLO surfaced courtesy of the FCC, and now the firm’s first box to be released with built-in component jacks is finally official. Granted, we already know that this FCC-exposed Slingbox is set to include these coveted ports as well, but this bad boy should be the first of the two to hit store shelves. Furthermore, it’ll boast passthrough outputs to save you from scrounging around for a splitter, the ability to control a single set-top-box and support for incoming HD signals. Oh, and while the actual purpose of the built-in USB port has yet to be confirmed, we’ve all got external storage (and WiFi) on the brain. As for pricing and availability, look for this sucka to ship very soon for $179.99 in the US, $199.99 in Canada and £129.99 in the UK.

Considering that the cat’s out of the bag, we couldn’t help but take the opportunity to get a closer look at the newest Slingbox. The unit boasted a small frame and plenty of ports, but it still rocked that tried and true Slingbox look throughout. Go on, check the gallery below to get up close and personal with the SOLO.
